Parasenecio yakusimensis (Masam.) H.Koyama

Japanese: ヤクシマコウモリ(ソウ) [Yakushima Kōmori(sō)]

I have only bumped into small fields of this plant several times. It is easily recognizable by its bat-shaped leaves, but I don't know why it's range seems to be so limited. I think the flowers look quite odd.
