This 'ash' tree has it all: Softly scented bouquets of small white flowers in the spring, beautiful arrangement of leaves that turn bright red in the fall, red berries for the monkeys to eat (and that some folks on the mainland put in jams), and to show it all off, it's comfortable growing from the ground or claiming a perch high up in the branches of other trees.
