Chionographis koidzumiana Ohwi
Family: MelanthiaceaeJapanese: チャボシライトソウ (矮鶏白糸草) [Chabo Shiraitosō]
Often seen growing from earthy mountain sides in the Exterior Mountains. (From what I can find, it seems that the name, Chionographis japonica var. yakushimensis used to apply to C. koidzumiana var. yakusimensis. I am confused!)
