Geranium shikokianum Matsum. var. yoshiianum (Koidz.) H.Hara

Japanese: ヤクシマフウロ (屋久島風) [Yakushima Fūro]

This germanium lives only in the Central Mountains. I almost overlooked this specimen because I thought it was a clover, but that doesn't explain why I have not seen any flowers in years and know only a very limited number of plants. If you come across this plant, please do not even touch it, less your scent attract the attention of deer.
